Oregon Part 2

So Today I was able to mett up with my friend Katrina. I haven't see her since I got married. She is now married and has a 4 month old who is so Adorable. We had lunch at the mall and then later had dessert at the Cheesecake Factory. It was so fun being able to catch up. Then later I went over to Shannon's and hung out with her and Jill. I was finally able to meet 16 month of Ava who is so cute. It was so fun seeing some of my friends and I hope that it isn't two years before I see them again.

Oregon!

So I have been in Oregon with my parents since tuesday evening. So far since I have been here I have just been helping my mom around the house. But this weekened my oldest sister and her family came to my parents to visit. This ment that I got to meet my 16 month old neice for the first time. She doesn't like the camera right now so it was hard to get some pictures of her facing the camera.
Meet Paige May Sartell!

She loved pulling these puppies around.

So this is what happens when you give when you aren't thinking and give a toddler a whole chocolate fiber plus bar and then can't take it back so you have to let her eat it.

Not a very good picture, but I took it myself.

I love this picture. She has beautiful blue eyes.

Bathroom Redo!

So we have had a little adventure the past couple of weeks. we have bee re-doing our bathroom, or at least part of it. It all started when we decided we would get a new faucet. That turned into needing new sheet rock on the showerhead side because the tiles had started to come off and so it was rotted and molded behind them. Then, we broke some tiles while taking them off so we decided that we would just replace the tile. Well that led to some bad sheet rock on the long wall so we had to replace some of it. That in turned led to getting a new tub because our old one got chipped in the process of taking out tile and sheet rock. You should know that who ever did the bathroom before us had just re-painted the tub and not re-finished it. Well getting the old tub out proved to be difficut since it turned out to be the original tub from the house, which means it was cast iron. So we (or I guess I should say Richard and a friend of ours) ended having to cut some sheet rock on the back wall as well as the wall by the toilet to get it out. And they amazingly got it out all by themselves, which is quite a miracle. It was very heavy I hear. So then when we went to put the new tub in it wasn't quite as wide as our other tub. So we ened up tearing all the sheet rock off the long wall and built out the wall so that we didn't have to re-do our floor. The after pictures will come later because when I left for Orgeon it still wasn't finished. The new sheet rock was up and the mudding started, but I didn't have picture of it. Cross your fingers that it will be done when I get home so that I don't have to live in chaos anymore.
Back when this was all we thought we would be doing.

Back when we just thought we would be replacing the tile, as well as the old tub.

After the tub finally came out. I think it took them like 4+ hours.

Notice how high the shower head it? Yes I do love me husband.
