Hawaii

So we started our trip to Hawaii on Aug. 21. Well I guess technically you can say we started on the 20Th because we drove to my sister's in Boise that day. Anyway, we left the Boise airport around nine or so. We then had a lay over in Portland for six hours. Originally we had planned to do something with my parents but then decided against it because we didn't want to go through security again. So we finally boarded the plane for Hawaii around five. We didn't get to Oahu till around 8:30. Richard's best friend and groom to be Jake, met us at the airport. We just hung out with him that night. So Sunday we woke up and went to church with Jake and then decided to visit the Laie Temple. It is closed for renovation's right now but the outside still looks beautiful. I forgot the camera so we came back later and took pictures. After the temple we got something to eat and then went back to our hotel to change. We then went and sat on the beach with Jake and his family for a bit then decided to go do some sight seeing with just Jake. Well instead we went to the other end of the Island and met his Fiance Danica. We talked and played apples to apples till late in the evening and had a good time. So here are the pictures of our Hotel, room, and the view.

This is probably the nicest place we will ever stay. You can't tell from this picture but this is where you turn and then there is this long roadway that is lined with palm trees and you have to go through a security gate to get in.





The open concept was very hard to get used to. There was no door you just walked in.

The car we rented to drive. It was quit nice and we put a lot of miles on it
